Withdraw an online objection

Once an objection has been lodged online, it can also be withdrawn online. The Responsible Authority may be prompted by the objection to correspond with you or have the applicant contact you to negotiate changes to resolve the objection. Following discussions and/ or alterations to the application, the objector may wish to withdraw or re-submit their objection.

To make alterations to an objection, the objector must first withdraw their objection and submit a "new" one.

Steps

You will need to complete the following to withdraw an online objection:

  1. Click on the link Withdraw your online objection under the "Actions" heading.
  2. You have the option of entering text into the field provided as to why you are withdrawing your objection. Click on 'withdraw'.
  3. A confirmation message will be displayed. Click on 'return' to go back to the application.

Click on 'logout' to exit SPEAR.
